It is powered by dual electric motors and an 85 kilowatt hour lithium ion battery that deliver all wheel drive and a driving experience smoother than a jazz playlist on a rainy Sunday. The motors send power through a single speed automatic transmission, which is car speak for no shifting, no delays, just instant torque every time you even think about pressing the accelerator. It has an estimated 101 MPGe in the city and 88 MPGe on the highway. That is the automotive version of sipping green tea while running a marathon.
The Prologue EX does not scream for attention, but it definitely gets it. It rolls on 19 inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255 width tires that look ready for either a Whole Foods run or a spontaneous road trip. The front end is clean and modern, with LED headlights that automatically know when it is time to shine.
Inside, it is all about smart comfort. Heated front seats, a 10 way power driver's seat, and dual zone climate control keep you cozy while the tech keeps you connected. You get a large touchscreen with built in navigation, voice control, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is a digital gauge cluster that shows you everything from speed to energy flow, and a wireless hotspot so your passengers do not complain about the signal.
Safety comes in by the truckload. It has collision mitigation, blind spot monitoring with steering assist, rear cross traffic braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and more airbags than a bounce house. Even the mirrors want to help, with turn signal indicators and heating for those frosty mornings.
This Prologue is built for daily life with an attitude. Beware

I started leasing the Touring model of the Prologue back in August of 2024 - and after only 3,500 miles of driving I started to get a "service high voltage system" warning light after trying to use the heater. What was never explained to me during the purchasing of these vehicles is that you cannot even charge it while it has the service light on. So, I still have to make payments to Honda for a car I cannot use, which is now on repair attempt #3 and been in and out of the dealership for almost a month now. I've lost thousands of dollars of income by not being able to work, and the entire reason I'm leasing a vehicle is so that I don't have to deal with problems like this. Worst of all, Honda refuses to help me in any way. Please do not purchase this vehicle, and especially do not buy from Honda! - 5.0

We bought a new Prologue EX AWD. Even though it’s the base model, it’s very spacious for passengers. Drives really smooth. Cargo space is small compared to other EVs but none the less. Family is loving it. If your looking for a brand new EV just for getting around and hauling your kids or for business. Honda is has great incentives right now. We’re coming from driving a Tesla Model X 3-row to a new Honda Prologue and so it’s been great.
